Salin-Karanasan: Isang Pagsipat sa Integrasyon ng Digital Storytelling sa Filipino

Abstract

Layunin ng pananaliksik na ilarawan at suriin ang karanasan ng mga guro sa Filipino sa paggamit ng digital storytelling bilang makabagong estratehiya sa pagtuturo ng panitikan sa Junior High School. Gamit ang kwalitatibong diesnyo na penomenolohikal at thematic analysis nina Braun at Clarke (2006), isinagawa ang semi-istrukturang panayam sa sampung guro mula sa pampublikong paaralan. Lumitaw sa mga datos ang apat na pangunahing tema: (1) makulay ngunit masalimuot na karanasan sa digital storytelling, (2) limitadong kasanayan ngunit natutuhan sa pagsusumikap, (3) mga hamon sa imprastruktura at oras, at (4) malikhain, interaktibo, at makabuluhang pagkatuto. Ipinapakita ng mga tugon ng mga kalahok na bagamat epektibo ang digital storytelling sa pagpapataas ng pakikilahok at pag-unawa ng mga mag- aaral, may mga suliraning teknikal, institusyonal, at pedagohiyang makabago na humahadlang sa tuloy-tuloy na implementasyon. Naitala ang inisyatiba ng mga guro sa pag-angkop sa teknolohiya sa kabila ng mga limitasyon. Ang pananaliksik na ito ay nagmumungkahi ng pangangailangang palakasin ang teknikal na kasanayan ng mga guro sa pamamagitan ng pagsasanay, pasilidad, at polisiya upang mapalaganap ang digital storytelling bilang isang makabuluhang kasangkapan sa pagtuturo ng panitikan sa Filipino.
