Abstract

Malaki ang ambag ng mga Family Business sa pag-unlad ng ekonomiya, subalit ang karamihan sa mga pag-aaral ay nakatuon sa usapin ng succession kaysa sa mga panloob na kakayahang nagtatakda ng pagganap ng negosyo. Layunin ng pag-aaral na ito na suriin ang ugnayan at epekto ng Knowledge Management at Organizational Ambidexterity sa Firm Performance, kung saan ang Product Innovation ay nagsisilbing mediating variable sa mga negosyong pampamilya sa Metro Manila.Gumamit ang pag-aaral ng kwantitatibo, korelasyonal, at causal-explanatory na disenyo. Nakalap ang datos mula sa 385 kinatawan ng mga negosyong pampamilya at sinuri gamit ang deskriptibong estadistika, korelasyon, regresyon, at mediation analysis. Ipinakita ng mga resulta na ang Knowledge Management (β = .447, p < .001) at Organizational Ambidexterity (β = .334, p < .001) ay may makabuluhang impluwensya sa Product Innovation, kung saan naipapaliwanag ng modelo ang 50.3% ng baryasyon nito (R² = .503).

Dagdag pa rito, ang Product Innovation ay may makabuluhang epekto sa Family Firm Performance (β = .373, p < .001; R² = .436). Ipinakita rin ng mediation analysis na ang Product Innovation ay may complementary partial mediation sa ugnayan ng Knowledge Management (indirect β = .167, p < .001) at Organizational Ambidexterity (indirect β = .125, p < .001) sa Family Firm Performance, na nagpapahiwatig ng parehong direktang at hindi direktang epekto. Batay sa Resource-Based View at Knowledge-Based View, binibigyang-diin ng mga natuklasan ang kahalagahan ng mga kakayahang organisasyonal at inobasyon sa pagpapabuti ng pagganap ng negosyo. Nag-aambag ang pag-aaral sa pamamagitan ng pagpapalawak ng balangkas na capability–innovation–performance sa konteksto ng family business, at nagbibigay ng praktikal na implikasyon para sa pagpapatibay ng mga sistema ng kaalaman at mga gawaing inobatibo upang makamit ang pangmatagalang kompetitibong kalamangan.
